She slipped in a daiquiri spill and suffered a knee injury. $254,744 verdict for the lawyer, Courtney Paxton of New Orleans in federal court. David Bravo was the lawyer for the plaintiff. 1-31-11 A Metairie dentist suffered a disabling spinal injury (an optical one too) when he was rear-ended at high speed while stopped on I-12. $1.79 million dollar verdict in Covington.
